About

I am an award-winning game developer, designer, and executive whose work has helped define interactive entertainment for over 15 years. My portfolio spans genres and generations: from Facebook’s social gaming revolution with FarmVille (2009), to the birth of mainstream VR with Job Simulator (2016), to mobile’s modern renaissance with Hello Kitty Island Adventure (2023). My work delivers both critical acclaim and commercial success, frequently achieving Game of the Year honors in their genres.

A lifelong advocate for inclusion and impact, I helped ignite the games-for-health movement with SuperBetter (2011), a pioneering title still ranked among the top mental health games worldwide. I’ve guided multiple studios to achieve equitable representation of gaming’s vast audience, cofounded the long-running Queerness and Games Conference (QGCon), and served on the Game Developers Conference (GDC) Board for nearly 15 years.

A sought-after international speaker and educator, I’ve keynoted thought-leader conferences Project Horseshoe, Polaris, and GDC, earning accolades including Forbes 30 Under 30 and Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business.

Make games that make a difference. Build studios that build great people. Shape lives that shape better worlds.
